I love my work! I have been talking about and teaching sexual health for over 20 years. My dedication to understanding each patient’s sexual issue has enabled me to help hundreds of people/couples live a more sexually fulfilled life. Through telehealth sex therapy, I guide my patients towards an enhanced sexual health and stronger relationships. Whether facing sexual dysfunction or intimacy concerns, I listen intently to individual struggles and customize a treatment plan that moves them forward to where they want to be. As a highly credentialed, empathetic psychotherapist who has mastered both teletherapy and face-to-face counseling, I am with my patients for every step of their journey. Sex therapy is talk therapy and does not involve physical contact. I use skills like mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) so my patients can learn more about their sexual health and the improvements they can make to enhance their sex life. I am my patients’ link to a new beginning.
At this time, I am able to take new clients who are struggling with managing the impacts and fears around the the global Coronavirus pandemic. I am offering short-term (or longer) Teletherapy utilizing mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help manage day-to-day stress and cope with new challenges.
As a therapist, I approach each person from a strengths-based and nonjudgmental place. I believe we are all working to create the most meaningful and healthiest life possible for ourselves, but sometimes we could use a little extra help.
I provide therapy to individuals, couples, women, men & nonbinary and transgender folks who are exploring how to enhance their lives and relationships including gender and sexuality. I am a LGBTQI+, kink/poly & sexworker friendly and competent.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. From a strengths-based perspective and utilizing strategies and tools from ACT (acceptance & commitment therapy) CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) & mindfulness I help my clients manage and minimize the negative impacts of anxiety and depression on their lives.
